I propose for discussion the topic of Jesus Christ and His contemporaries.
"Isn't this the carpenter's son?"—this question from the people of Nazareth, expressing disdain for Jesus Christ, is based on the Gospels of Matthew (13:55) and Luke (4:16-30). They didn't believe that a man from the humble family of Joseph the carpenter could be the Messiah.
After His ministry, death on the cross, and resurrection, Jesus ascended to heaven to His Father to send from the Father another Comforter, the Holy Spirit, whom we receive and through whom we preach the gospel.
He who hears us hears the Holy Spirit; he who rejects us rejects the Lord.
Is this definition correct?

For example, I'm Orthodox and cannot profess faith any other way than the Orthodox Church teaches. I think the same is true for everyone. We must seek common ground; the Gospel calls for this. As for disagreements, they are inevitable; the spirit of discord, after all, does not eat its bread in vain. But we will resolve these emerging issues with the technical means available to us.
The main thing is that the name of Christ be glorified, and that we be filled with the goodness of fellowship.

Dialogue with non-Orthodox Christians must be structured differently. They do not profess Orthodoxy, so we must show leniency toward their faith, and they must show leniency toward us. Only then is dialogue possible. If someone doesn't believe in the descent of Christ's soul into hell when He hung dead on the Cross and was in the tomb, then what sense does it make for an unbeliever to try to prove otherwise? There's no point; time and effort will be wasted. We must seek what we agree on and build dialogue on that. That's what I think.
